What does the term 3C’s mean?
When borrow the money from bank or just about anyone, I think the following 3C’s would be in their mind.
Capacity
This means, looking at your current income and security of employment, can you afford to repay the amount you are looking at borrowing. Anybody lending you money will want to see, how much you are earning, how long you’ve been working for in this particular career and job security.
Collateral
All banks will lodge a mortgage security over the property you are looking to purchase, whether it’s your own home or an investment property in another state. The mortgage will stay in place until the full amount of the loan has been repaid in full. There is some good news here, in most cases, over time the property value would have increase and the mortgage consideration reduced as you pay down you mortgage. The difference is called equity. This new found equity can now be used a leverage yourself into another property if required, check with you Mortgage Broker to see how much you can borrow.
